University of California, San Diego (UCSD)
UCSD, located in La Jolla, California, is part of the University of California system and is considered one of the most prestigious institution the area. UCSD holds a high ranking among colleges and its spacious, quiet, and beautiful campus creates an atmosphere which is popular among students. The University boasts excellent programs in numerous disciplines, including oceanography, social psychology , international relations , engineering, and genetics. The faculty is renowned and considered world-class.
UCSD also has a university affiliated language school called “UCSD Extension” for international students who want to learn English. San Diego State University (SDSU)
SDSU is located relatively close to downtown San Diego, and is known for its vibrant campus atmosphere and facilities. USD is a private university based in San Diego and was founded in 1949. Though it is a Roman Catholic Institution, it supports students of all backgrounds, regardless of religion, and it offers a wide range of masters programs and popular majors including business, marketing, social sciences, communication, journalism, and psychology.
